Where We Started
CK Services was established in 1990 by it’s founder, Ken Smith with his many years of prior experience as a heating engineer working for one of the largest heating installers in the UK. Starting out in just a single industrial unit based in Darwen, CK had to quickly expand into larger premises – operating the business from 4 adjoining units. Ken’s son, Andy joined the family business from leaving school.
Where We Are Now
Andy later became a Director of the company and in 2016, CK Services moved premises to a much larger 10,000 square ft. factory based in Blackburn, Lancashire. Now trading successfully for well over 28 years, with a number of repeat clients and a team of 15+ staff, plus a wider network of trusted, qualified installers and heating engineers covering the whole of the UK. In 2024, CK Services moved to a new premises based in Burnley.
What We Do
CK Services 1990 Ltd. specialise in all aspects of LPG/Natural Gas and Oil/Kerosene heating installations including offering site surveys, commercial heating maintenance contracts, spare parts supply and are an approved stockist and supplier of new and reconditioned heaters from all of the main manufacturers. We’re also proud to be the UK’s biggest supplier of reconditioned heaters.

From offering a free quotation on a modern and efficient system such as Electric and Hybrid Heating, Natural Gas / LPG and Oil Heating, servicing and repairs on all Evaporative Coolers, Air Conditioning or Boiler Systems through to designing, supplying and installing New Heating and Complete Cooling Systems all over the UK.
We are one of the longest serving and biggest suppliers and fitters of Reconditioned Heaters ideal for businesses with a smaller budget. Our Family run company have been experts in the Commercial Heating, Cooling systems and Mechanical Services trade for well over 50 years – spanning 2 generations and providing a full turn key HVAC service from a small factory to many large retailers, Garden Centres, Car Showrooms, Warehouses with outlets and stores Nationwide.
We also provide site surveys, drawings and quotations from initial design right through to service and maintenance, as well as offering a reactive repair service all over the UK. Our qualified in-house engineers are fully trained, insured and certified to work on the hardware and equipment they are working with, having the necessary access equipment to work safely on any site premises.
The key to our long standing success is down to good communication and providing excellent customer service at all times.
